National Do Not Call Registry
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) implemented a national “do not call registry” in July 2003. Federal legislation requires telemarketing companies to purchase the list and to ensure that individuals who have registered are not called.
Charities such as the KSU Foundation are exempt and are not required to purchase or use the FTC's “do not call” list.
Therefore, you can register with the FTC to remove your name from most telemarketing company’s databases and still receive your call from a K-State student during Telefund.
If, however, you prefer not to be called during our Telefund, please contact us. We will be happy to change our records to ensure you are not contacted.
