Kansas State University alumnus and longtime local restaurateur, Scott Sieben ’11 of Kite’s Bar & Grill, Mr. K’s Café & Bar, Mr. K’s Mobile Kitchen and now Rockin K’s, has partnered with the KSU Foundation to offer the community a fresh full-service gastropub experience located in the Edge Collaboration District at K-State and the K-State Office Park at 1880 Kimball Avenue, suite 100. The new Rockin K’s is open to the public and will be serving this Saturday, when K-State Football plays Texas Tech.
Sieben created a new menu series, “Rockin K’s Originals,” which includes specialty tacos, quinoa wraps and family favorites like roast beef and “mashed tators.” Popular adult beverages will be offered on site. Customers may choose from indoor and patio seating with public Wi-Fi provided by WTC.
“We’re excited to bring the best of Kite’s and Mr. K’s fan favorites — infused with fresh Rockin K’s flavor — to the university community in the Edge Collaboration District,” said Scott Sieben. “K-State alumni and friends trust Kite’s and Mr. K’s commitment to K-State family and great food, and Rockin K’s gives us one more way to bring people together — in walking distance to Bill Snyder Family Stadium.”
With the inclusion of the full-service restaurant in the office park adjacent to campus, K-State partners, visitors and the community have an additional lunch and dinner option.
Rockin K’s opens for business daily at 11 a.m.
“The addition of Rockin K’s to the Edge Collaboration District further supports the professional, research and academic global partners moving into the innovation ecosystem that the KSU Foundation is developing to strengthen Kansas State University,” said Kate Ryan, commercial leasing and engagement manager for the KSU Foundation.
As Kansas State University’s strategic partner for philanthropy, the KSU Foundation inspires and guides philanthropy toward university priorities to boldly advance K-State family.
