Pet Tribute

One of the most difficult things one can go through is losing a pet who is part of their family. To provide light amid grief, K-State’s College of Veterinary Medicine’s Pet Tribute program is an opportunity to memorialize a beloved pet.

Honoring our lost companions

Thoughtful contributions of any amount support the Veterinary Health Center, grief counseling, education, and scientific advancements.

Your gift in honor of a beloved pet helps veterinarians improve the health and quality of life among all species of companion animals by supporting the diagnosis and treatment of animals.

For owners and friends

You can honor a beloved pet with your contribution of any amount to Pet Tribute. The names of the pet, owner and donor are recorded in a memorial book displayed at the Veterinary Medical Library. If the donor is not the owner, the owner will receive a letter acknowledging the gift made in their pet’s memory.

*Please note that Pet Tribute information may also be shared by printing and mailing this form.

For veterinarians and clinics

By participating in Pet Tribute, you can show compassion for your clients’ loss and help build a dedicated, long-term client for you and your practice.

When you make a contribution to Pet Tribute, your client is informed of your memorial gift. The names of the pet, owner and donor are recorded in a memorial book, found online at the Pet Tribute Memorial Book, and in a memorial book displayed at the Veterinary Medial Library.
