K-State’s Center for Entrepreneurship Accelerator program fuels new businesses with top-notch education and funding.
Getting a business started can feel like trying to push a stalled car — tough to get rolling and even harder to keep accelerating.
K-State’s Center for Entrepreneurship Accelerator program helps local businesses from boutiques to candy stores hit the gas and boost their aspirations.
The Accelerator gives businesses access to faculty-led courses, hands-on student research teams and an extensive alumni mentor network. Student teams, alumni and accomplished local business leaders tackle challenges unique to each business and help refine operations for growth.
After completing the program, businesses receive a grant of $5,000 in equity-free funding.
What is the Accelerator program’s goal?
The Center for Entrepreneurship focuses on strengthening local businesses and building innovation by educating owners on strategy and competitive positioning.
It also increases owners’ confidence, clarity and conviction and inspires entrepreneurs to press the gas pedal little by little until their company is a thriving organization, speeding toward success.
