K-State faculty are inspiring tomorrow’s leaders today
Outstanding professors who make a difference in a student’s life — academically and personally — are invaluable. They inspire, teach and mentor.
Investing in faculty is one way you can impact nearly every aspect of the university, because their work advances research and enhances student success.
One of the highest honors K-State can give its faculty is an endowed position. The award shows them K-State believes in their abilities, and it gives them the resources, freedom and focus to create learning opportunities that transform students.
Named and endowed faculty positions are also crucial to recruiting and retaining top-tier educators.
Whether it’s teaching K-Staters new technologies, involving them in groundbreaking research or revealing their life’s passion, these outstanding faculty members are the professors students will remember.

Connecting with your cause
Empowering first-gen students
Imagine being the first in your family to go to college. It can be daunting to navigate enrollment, pay tuition or know where to find resources.
The First-generation Student Center guides students through these challenges and creates special experiences that lead them toward success.
A quarter of K-State’s undergraduates are first-generation students. Invest in their future.
Cancer care for pets
Animals with cancer need radiation therapy, just like humans do. K-State’s linear accelerator treats 400 veterinary oncology patients every year, but the current machine is outdated.
A new accelerator will deliver more efficient care with better outcomes, less pain for patients and less stress for their owners. A course of treatment could be administered in three days instead of four weeks of daily radiation.
Will you help K-State improve care for its cancer patients?
