K-State’s new Bilbrey Family Event Center roped in a stampede of spectators for the 2026 K-State rodeo. The arena can host around 3,000 people, about the same as the volleyball arena!
Before the building opened its gates, K-State’s rodeo team rarely had access to an indoor arena. Now our riders and ropers saddle up year-round in a temperature-controlled facility that keeps up with the team’s rigorous schedule.
“The rodeo team members performed exceptionally this year, and I think that can be attributed to the practice time we gained in the new facility,” said Kassandra Shoemaker, K-State rodeo team member and professional rodeo athlete.
With its purple cattle chutes, delicious concessions and big screen projector, Bilbrey is the perfect place for K-State to host 4-H events, livestock shows and concerts that’ll echo across the prairie.
