Carl and Mary Ice invest in K-State’s College of Engineering

The Kansas Board of Regents approved on Dec. 12 the first named academic college at Kansas State University. The College of Engineering will be named in honor of Kansas State University alumnus Carl R. Ice. The naming honors the extraordinary professional accomplishment of Ice and the generous support of the college by Ice and his wife, Mary. A celebration of the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering will take place in the fall of 2019 in Manhattan, Kansas.

Carl and Mary Ice have been generous supporters of Kansas State University and of the College of Engineering, with significant philanthropic investments supporting engineering faculty, students, facilities and the overall excellence of the college.
