Leadership, scholarship and research for the greater good

How do we best prepare students for community impact? It takes experience and confidence to lead in an increasingly complex world.

K-State’s award-winning Staley School of Leadership draws students from every academic college to invest in leadership for the common good. Through service in and out of the classroom, bold and curious learners are encouraged to learn by doing.

Students meet with Professor Mike Finnegan in the Leadership Studies Building outdoor amphitheater.

Applied learning experiences have the potential to give students confidence and clarity in their future careers — and competence and purpose as they pursue it.

How you can invest in the leaders of today and tomorrow at K-State:

  • Engage students with community. The Staley School offers service-learning experiences to challenge students and practice leadership beyond campus. Your support can provide materials and transportation for teams or operational funding and deliver transformational opportunities for students to apply their leadership education to real challenges faced by our communities.
  • Enhance faculty. K-State’s leadership studies program has built a strong international reputation for cultivating undergraduate leaders and expanding the study and practice of civic leadership. Your support means our extraordinary team can diversify the network and expertise offered to our students and extend development opportunities off campus.
  • Foster innovative learning. To develop and prepare leaders for the challenges they will face, we leverage cutting-edge resources and work to expand the capacity of the Staley School to become a national center for civic leadership.

Donors like you are important partners in the success of the Staley School.
