Invest in K-State’s pathfinders, groundbreakers and change-makers.
How you equip the change-makers
K-State’s 165+ graduate programs and certificates give students a competitive edge, both in their professions and in groundbreaking research. Programs are offered on every K-State campus and online to meet the needs of pathfinding Wildcats who pursue cures for cancer and protect the food supply.
How can you keep K-State graduate students on the frontline of research? Make sure K-State is competitive and able to employ these top scholars. Consider creating a scholarship or stipend award to invest in K-State’s current and future change-makers.
Here are some areas where you can create the greatest impact:
- Tuition support. State resources aren’t always available to recruit and retain the best graduate students. Private gifts make K-State competitive by making us able to offer tuition compensation to rising leaders in research.
- Endowed fellowships. Endowed fellowships sharpen K-State’s leading edge in research and instruction, especially in the areas of food science, genetics, biochemistry, public health and security studies. Fellowships also help recruit and retain people from communities underrepresented in higher education and particular fields.
- Professional development. Private support helps promising researchers attend national and international meetings where they present research findings, learn from diverse sources, and collect data at other institutions or laboratories.
